San Remo Channel Challenge
Today's swim run marked 25 years of this annual event & the record number of 788 competitors.

Due to the strong tide flow through the channel the swim can only take place on the slack water of the appropriate high tide.
Slack water of the high tide lasts approximately fifteen mins in which time 500+ competitors must complete the swim.
