Day 181

Who's driving this jeep?
How often we see this; the owner departs from his vehicle & the passenger
straight away moves across into the driver's seat!
The look on this dog's face was priceless as I moved in closer
for a front on shot . . . only to have the dreaded "empty battery" message appear!

Day 180

Are we there yet?
When we pass this landmark on the highway I know we've only 30kms to go before we're home!

Day 179

I noticed the kangaroos down at the dam . . .
by the time I grabbed the camera, raced downstairs, ran out the door & down the court,
they were beginning to move higher up the hill again.

Sunday, June 27

Day 178

I opened the door to find this tiny frog on the doorstep . . .
Every night the frogs can be heard (they're incredibly loud)
& it's not until the early hours of the morning that they cease their calling out!

Project 365

2012 . . .
oh dear, only 78 days,
so that'd be an F?

2011 . . .
neglected after 85 days,
it's another F!

2010 . . .
all done,
it's an A+!

2009 . . .
8 weeks of layouts only,
it's an F for fail!

I live in a beautiful part of the world, with glorious ocean views, kangaroos bounding across the hilltops, assorted wildlife (echidnas, cape barron geese etc), birdlife & reptiles (not all nice . . . tiger snakes & copperheads —eek!)
