Day 181

Who's driving this jeep?
How often we see this; the owner departs from his vehicle & the passenger
straight away moves across into the driver's seat!
The look on this dog's face was priceless as I moved in closer
for a front on shot . . . only to have the dreaded "empty battery" message appear!

Day 180

Are we there yet?
When we pass this landmark on the highway I know we've only 30kms to go before we're home!

Monday, June 28

Day 179

I noticed the kangaroos down at the dam . . .
by the time I grabbed the camera, raced downstairs, ran out the door & down the court,
they were beginning to move higher up the hill again.

Sunday, June 27

Day 178

I opened the door to find this tiny frog on the doorstep . . .
Every night the frogs can be heard (they're incredibly loud)
& it's not until the early hours of the morning that they cease their calling out!

Saturday, June 26

Day 177

The blackberries are beginning to take over the weeds again in the paddocks

Friday, June 25

Day 176

Off to the vet for annual vacination & health check . . .

Thursday, June 24

Day 175

Old farmhouse near Bass . . .

Wednesday, June 23

Day 174

The ducks had returned to the dam at lunchtime so I wandered down to watch them swimming . . .

Tuesday, June 22

Day 173

Reflections in the dam . . .

Monday, June 21

Day 172

& now for a couple of galahs . . . bit closer to home this time :)

Project 365

2012 . . .
oh dear, only 78 days,
so that'd be an F?

2011 . . .
neglected after 85 days,
it's another F!

2010 . . .
all done,
it's an A+!

2009 . . .
8 weeks of layouts only,
it's an F for fail!

I live in a beautiful part of the world, with glorious ocean views, kangaroos bounding across the hilltops, assorted wildlife (echidnas, cape barron geese etc), birdlife & reptiles (not all nice . . . tiger snakes & copperheads —eek!)
